Her father is from Niğdeli and her mother is from Erzincan. She completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Ankara. At the age of 13, she had her first stage experience. He graduated from Eastern Mediterranean University, Department of Architecture in 2004. He did his internship with Ragıp Buluç. During his time in Cyprus, he acted in various plays at the Cyprus State Theater and also directed and acted in short films. These films are Trio, Heterotopia, Human Trilogy, Upside Down, Pomegranate Wound and Happy Ending. One of the founders of the Cyprus Film Association, Gülsoy is also the project designer and director of the Cyprus International Short Film Festival. She received training on filmmaking in a competition organized within the scope of the United Nations Development Project.
