Umut Kurt (b. April 17, 1981, Erzincan) is a Turkish actor known for the film Beynelmilel and the TV series Hatırla Sevgili.

He started theater as an amateur in 1997. After graduating from Müjdat Gezen Art Center, he joined BKM actors.

Playing the baglama and singing folk songs are as prominent as his acting.

She acted in the plays Womanlar, Otobüs Durağı, Erkeklere Özgürlük, Bu Dünya Bizim, Godot'yu İzlerken, Masal Karmakarışık, Çizmeli Kedi, Benim Tatlı Meleğim and Hisseli Harikalar Kumpanyası. He also starred in the TV series Tatar Ramazan. Most recently, he played the role of Mazhar in the TV series Beni Böyle Sev.
