Biography

Kerem Bürsin was born on June 4, 1987 in Istanbul, Turkey and is a Turkish actor. He is a bilingual actor in English and Turkish in Hollywood-Turkish productions.

Bürsin was known for his roles as "Kerem Sayer", with whom he shared the same name, and his twin "Güneş Sayer", whose face was deformed in the last episodes, in the series "Güneşi Beklerken", which aired on Kanal D between 2013 and 2014.He played musician Erhan in the Çağan Irmak film Unutursam Fısılda.He played the character of "Yiğit Kılıç" in the series Şeref Meselesi and guest starred in the series "Ulan İstanbul" with the same character. He appeared in producer Roger Corman's television movies Sharktopus and Palace of the Damned, some independent films and short films.

Bürsin has lived in countries such as Scotland (Edinburgh), Indonesia (Medan, Jakarta), United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi, Dubai), Turkey (Ankara, Istanbul), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), USA (Texas, Boston, Los Angeles). He moved to the USA with his family in 1999 when he was 12 years old.

He studied acting in college and graduated from Emerson College's marketing communications department. He was named the best male actor in an inter-high school theater competition across the US. On September 9, 2013, he starred in the commercial film of the social messaging application Line. He also starred in a Lipton commercial with his co-star Hande Doğandemir from the TV series Güneşi Beklerken and in January 2015, he became the face of Mavi Jeans. Together with Serenay Sarıkaya, another face of the brand, they conducted Turkey's first Snapchat interview and then starred together in the commercial with the hashtag #1jean1tişört. The duo sang Maroon5's This Love in the commercial. The couple's second commercials took place in September 2015 with the hashtag #yepyenibirjean. In 2016, they starred in their third commercial with Serenay Sarıkaya with the hashtag #yaşasınmavi. In August 2016, Kerem Bürsin's contract with the Mavi Jeans brand ended.

Bürsin took on the character of "Serkan Bolat" and shared the lead role with Hande Erçel in the series "Sen Çal Kapımı", which aired on FOX between 2020-2021.[9]
