Biography

Ulaş Tuna Astepe, born on May 5, 1988, in Izmit, is a Turkish television, film, and theater actor who graduated from the Theater Department of the Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory. He began his career in 2008 as a costume assistant on film sets before transitioning to the theater stage. He gained widespread recognition on screen for his role as Orhan in the 2012 series Karadayı. He made his big breakthrough with his portrayal of the character Tahir in the series Sen Anlat Karadeniz, and subsequently cemented his success with his role as Hızır Reis in the series Barbaroslar: Akdeniz'in Kılıcı. Astepe continues to appear in current projects as of 2025 and is one of the most notable names in Turkish television with his powerful acting and natural performances.
