Born on October 6, 1988 in Istanbul, she graduated from Istanbul University State Conservatory Theater Department. She took her first step in her career with the character of "Ayşe" in the TV series Fifth Dimension, which started to be broadcast on Samanyolu TV in 2005. She started to be recognized with her character "Zeyno" in the series Acacia Durağı, which started to be broadcast on Kanal D in 2008. She took her first cinematic step in 2009 with her character "Delal" in the movie İncir Çekirdeği. Akbaş returned to TV screens with the character of "Figen Yıldırım (Fifi)" in the series Sen Çal Kapımı (You Play My Door), which started to be broadcast on FOX in 2020. In 2021, she joined the cast of the Ramo series broadcast on Show TV and played the character of "Dilber".
