Serkan Tınmaz was born on May 26, 1986, in Istanbul and is a theater, film, and television actor. After completing his undergraduate degree in Acting at Çanakkale 18 Mart University, he earned a master's degree in Film and Drama from Kadir Has University. He first appeared on camera in 2011 as the character Hikmet in the film "Aşk ve Devrim" (Love and Revolution). He became widely known for his role as Umut in the TV series "Kızılcık Şerbeti" (Cranberry Sherbet); this role, particularly the "Nursema–Umut" couple, was very well received by viewers. As of 2025, he is returning to the screen with a new project, the series "Çift Kişilik Oda."
