Biography

Sarp Akkaya; born May 13, 1980 in Istanbul, is a Turkish theater, film and TV series actor and voice actor.

Sarp Akkaya, who started his acting career with the TV series Bizim Aile (Our Family), graduated from MSU State Conservatory in 2001 and played in the plays "Kaos" and "After" of Studio Drama Theater Company, and then in the plays "Day 6" and "Camel's Hörgücü Yamuk Olur" of Alchera Theater Company. "Colonel Bird" is also among the plays he played in. Later on, he became known for his character Servet in the TV series "Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu" and then he had a big break with the character Tevfik in the TV series "Ezel". He shared the lead roles with Murat Yıldırım in the series Suskunlar and played the character Sarı in this series. In the Magnificent Century series, he played the character of Atmaca. In 2015, Racon, which was broadcast on ATV: For My Family, which aired on ATV in 2015, and shared the lead role with Mehmet Aslantuğ. Sarp Akkaya is the brother of actress Esra Akkaya. Kaya Akkaya, his twin sister, is also an actress like him. He also does voice-over work. In 2010, he founded AKKAdemi Theater with his brothers.
