Biography
He was born on July 5, 1965 in Bingöl, the youngest of 5 siblings. He is originally from Boyabat. He is the brother of actor Serhat Özcan. Since his father was a non-commissioned officer, he spent his Abandoned in various provinces of Turkey. He started primary school in Dikmen. Then he studied in Kars for 3 years. He completed his secondary education at Kartal Anatolian High School and his undergraduate education. His father was arrested on September 12. He graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in 1987. He started his professional theater career at Trabzon State Theater in 1987. In the 1990-91 season, he was appointed to Istanbul State Theater. In the 1992-93 season, with the call of Mustafa Avkıran, he moved to Antalya and continued his professional career at Antalya State Theater. He ran the Akdeniz University Theater Club as a director. He also worked as a director at Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Theater. In the 2010-2011 season, he was transferred back to Istanbul State Theater with the play Disembodied Woman. In addition to being a theater actor, he has also worked in cinema and television. He was nominated for many awards and received awards with the movie Bahtı Kara in which he played a role. In October 2016, he retired from the State Theater. In 1991, he married physician Yeşim Özcan.
