Biography

Born on April 1, 1986 in Istanbul, she attended primary and secondary school in Istanbul. During her high school education, she studied in the United States for a year with the AFS program.[citation needed] She graduated from Sabancı University, Department of Management Sciences in 2008. Her mother is an English The Teacher. She first appeared in the TV series Cesaretin Varı Mı Aşka and Kavak Yelleri on Kanal D. She also appeared in commercials for Eti, Browni, Algida and Cornetto.[citation needed] In the series Kavak Yelleri on Kanal D, she played the character of "Ada", a crazy but sensitive cancer patient girl. She played five episodes in this series. Between 2009 and 2010, she played a university student character named "İpek Taşkır" in the emotional, drama and youth series "Melekler Korusun" on Show TV. Özpirinçci also played the character of "Fikriye Hanım" in the movie Veda, directed by Zülfü Livaneli and released in 2010. She also played the character of "Dilruba" in the series Deli Saraylı, which was broadcast on Show TV in 2010 and was canceled with its 11th episode. She played the character of "First Lieutenant Ayşe Dinçer" in the movie Anatolian Eagles. Between 2011 and 2012, she played the leading role of "Asiye" in the series Al Yazmalım, which was broadcast on ATV between 2011 and 2012, and she was a presenter in the program Toplu Hayat (Collective Life) broadcast on TRT Okul. Özpirinçci also played in the video clip of Athena band Arsız Gönül. On November 29, 2015, she won the Best Female Comedy Actress Award at the 42nd Golden Butterfly Awards. Between 2017 and 2020, she played the character of "Bahar Çeşmeli", a mother of two children, who was the lead role in the series Woman, which was also broadcast on FOX between 2017 and 2020, and won the Best Actress Award at the 45th Golden Butterfly Awards for this role.
