Oktay Çubuk was born in Izmir in 1996 and studied at Izmir American College. During this period, he started shooting short films and acted in some theater plays. He entered the Department of Cinema and Television at Istanbul Bilgi University and graduated with a very high degree. Afterwards, she took acting lessons from names such as Yudum Erdem and Ayşe Direkoğlu from Cüneyt Say Workshop. In 2020, he received the 54th Siyad Best Actor and Golden Boll Promising Actor awards for his character Fehmi in the movie Bir Nefes Daha. He starred in Cennet'in Gözyaşları (2017), Love Makes You Cry (2019), Sol Yanım (2020), Duran (2022) and Baba (2022). He also recently came to the agenda with the series Ah Nerede (2022), a Yeşilçam movie adaptation.
