Biography

Born on January 2, 1997 in Silivri, Istanbul, Sezen completed her high school education at Selimpaşa Atatürk Anatolian High School. Her father is an Albanian immigrant from Macedonia and her mother is an immigrant from Thessaloniki, Greece; Sezen has one brother and her family is engaged in trade. In one of her interviews, she said that they supported her to start theater, and in another interview, she said that her mother noticed her interest in acting and enrolled her in Müjdat Gezen Art Center. From the age of 12, Sezen received drama education and studied theater for a year at Müjdat Gezen Art Center. Then she played in the play Cümbüş-ü Hospital at Ali Solmaz Theater in Silivri. Sezen continued her education and graduated from the Department of Media and Visual Arts at Koç University. Between 2016-17, she stepped into the world of television with the series Hayat Bazen Tatlıdır.

Between 2017-18, she played the character of "Ebru" in the series Siyah İnci. In 2018, she entered the cinema with independent films. The first movie she starred in was Dünya Hali and the second movie was Fox's Nest. After independent films, she made her first serious role with the movie Bizim İçin Champion, which tells the true story of the racehorse Bold Pilot and his jockey Halis Karataş. In 2019, the character "Yasemin" in the series Leke became her first leading role. Then she played the character of "Deren", who was also the lead role in the series Dear Past. At the end of 2019, she played the character of "Beren" in the movie Mucize 2: Love.

Sezen entered the top 100 on the IMDb Starmeter list in 2019. In 2020, she played the lead character "Nazan" in the historical miniseries Ya İstiklal Ya Ölüm, which tells the story of the occupation of Istanbul, the dissolution of the Parliament, the Kuvâ-yi Milliye movement led by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and the establishment of a new parliament in Ankara.

He also starred in the feature film Kovala. As of October 2020, she became one of the lead characters in the series A Woman Scorned with Cansu Dere and Caner Cindoruk. In 2021, she played the character of "Woman of Life" in the series Fatma, starring Burcu Biricik. In the same year, she was awarded the "Shining Stars" award at the 47th Golden Butterfly Awards. Now she gives life to the character of Deva Nakkaşoğlu in Gülcemal.
