Known for his roles as a movie actor, playwright, screenwriter and poet, Hamdi Alp was born in Şişli, Istanbul in 1986. Due to his father's profession, Hamdi Alp lived in the Kadıköy Health Center Lodgings for a while and spent his Abandoned years in Maltepe.

While studying at Kadıköy Osmangazi Primary School, he transferred to Maltepe Feyzullah Primary School in the 4th grade and graduated.

He then continued his education at Üsküdar Burhan Felek High School and graduated from the Theatre Department of Haliç University Conservatory.

Hamdi Alp, who has appeared in the commercials of Mis Süt and Vakıfbank Kış Kreşi to date, has also taken part in the TV series Günahkar, Acayip Hikayeler, Poisonous Ivy, Ömre Bedel, Annem, and the movies Sınırlar, Bayram Abi, Sahibinden Kiralık, Günahkarlar, Deneme Çekimi, Hangi Film, Eyvah Eyvah and Kabadayı.

He is originally from Siirt on his father's side. He lives in Istanbul Kadıköy Moda.
