Experienced actress Gülay Baltacı, who graduated from Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory Ballet Department, was born in Sivas in 1963.

Gülay Baltacı, who took part in children's plays at the State Theaters during her university years, has taken part in many movies and TV series from past to present. After graduation, she entered the Yapı Kredi Children's Theater, Şan Theater, Neşe-i Muhabbet, Büyük Kabare and Devekuşu Kabare.

Some of the works she has acted in so far are as follows; Hastane, Aliye, Ümit Milli, Arka Sıradakiler, Akasya Durağı, Bizim Okul, Günahkar, Roman Havası, Baş Belası, Büyük Buluşma, Naciye'yi Kim Sevmez, Deliha, Aile İşi and Vezir Parmağı. She is especially known by screen lovers with the character Safiye she portrayed in the TV series Akasya Durağı.
