He was born on January 5, 1970 in Ankara. His father is from Ünyeli and Laz origin and his mother is the daughter of an Albanian family who immigrated to Ankara from Pristina.He completed his secondary education at Izmir Private Turkish College and graduated from Izmir Narlıdere Mehmet Seyfi Eraltay High School. In 1989, she entered Hacettepe University State Conservatory. During her conservatory education, she attended workshops on "creative drama" by British theater director William Gaskill. He graduated in 1993 and started working as an actor at the State Theaters in the same year.
In the 1995-96 season, he served as Acting Director at Diyarbakır State Theater.

In 2015, he retired from Ankara State Theater. In 2022, he performed "Tirat by Erdal Beşikçioğlu" in the album Tirat, which included names such as Allame, No.1, Şehinşah and Şanışer.
On January 1, 2024, he became the Republican People's Party's candidate for mayor of Etimesgut for the local elections in Turkey in 2024. He won the election held on March 31, 2024 and was elected as the mayor of Etimesgut and took office on April 4.
