Born on June 25, 1977 in Kayseri, Elvan Boran completed her primary, secondary and high school education in many different cities and TRNC. When she was a high school sophomore, she took to the stage for the first time at the Nicosia State Theater with the play "Tomorrow Mind Makes the Future". Elvan Boran, who decided to choose acting as a profession with the play "Human Being Human" in the Nicosia Municipal Theater, graduated from the "Istanbul University State Conservatory Theater Department" in 1997, which she entered in 1993. During her senior year, she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the "Afife Jale Theater Awards" for her role in the play "Songs of Hope" staged at the Kenter Theater.
After graduation, she acted in the plays "Satılan Mal Geri Alınmaz" and "Umut'un Gücü" with "Düş Oyuncuları", which she founded. In 1999, she went to London and took classes on Physical Theater from Desmond Jones and Philippe Gaulier. Later on, she did her Master's Degree in Musical Acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama, one of the three most important schools in London. She appeared on stage at the LIFT Festival (London International Festival of Theater) with the play "One September Night" by American playwright Beverly Andrews. Elvan Boran, who also worked as a program producer and presenter at London Turkish Radio, returned to Turkey in 2004.
Between 2004 and 2011, she acted in many TV commercials, TV series and movies in Istanbul. She met the audience with the play "Night Season" at the Kenter Theater and also taught Voice-Speech, Acting and Singing Technique in Theater at Beykent University Acting Department, Istanbul University State Conservatory Theater Department, Kadir Has University Acting Department.
Elvan Boran, who completed her second master's degree at Istanbul University, Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Theater Criticism and Dramaturgy, still continues to work as an instructor at Sadri Alışık Cultural Center and her main profession, acting.
In addition to her theater work, Elvan Boran has acted in various films and series such as Yaz Evi, Hosça Kal Güzin, 72. Koğuş, Seviyor Sevmiyor, İsimsizler, Our Story, Yazgı since 1993. He continues to take part in new projects.
