She was born on June 25, 1988 in Istanbul. Ecem Nur Özkaya studied at Maltepe University, Department of Radio and Television.

She played the character Biricikik in the series Zengin Kız Fakir Oğlan (Rich Girl, Poor Boy), which aired on TRT 1 and FOX between 2012-2015. Later, she played the character of Melek in the series Hayat Şarkısı, which was broadcast on Kanal D between 2016-2017.

He also starred in the TV series Kartallar Yüksek Uçar (2007), Havalimanı/İyi Uçuşlar (2008), Cümbür Cemaat Aile (2010), İffet (2010) and the movie Sizi Seviyorum (I Love You).

He is Kyrgyz on his father's side and Circassian on his mother's side.
