Biography
Caner Cindoruk was born in Adana on April 17, 1980. His mother is Müşerref and his father is Zafer Doruk, a two-time Orhan Kemal Story Award-winning short story writer. He is of Kurdish origin on his mother's side and Yoruk on his father's side. Cindoruk, whose two brothers, Münir Can Cindoruk and Taner Cindoruk, were also actors, turned to theater with the influence of his family. His uncle Erdal Cindoruk is also a theater actor. Cindoruk's Abandoned years were spent backstage. He always found a stage for himself in the plays he performed in middle school, high school and university years. He graduated from Çukurova University. His first professional role was as Yusuf in Fehim Pasha Mansion. In 1997, he appeared in his first professional theater play with Adana Seyhan Municipality Theater Group. He worked as an actor in Seyhan Municipality and Adana City Theaters for ten years.
In 2006, she came to Istanbul with four Abandoned friends. In 2006, he started his movie career with the movie Beynelmilel, in which he starred with Özgü Namal. In 2008, she starred in the movie Butterfly. In 2007, Cindoruk started to be seen in television series with the series titled Black Sun, and in 2008 he starred in the series Late Coming Blooming Lady and Yaprak Dökümü. The character of Dr. Nazmi in Yaprak Dökümü attracted great attention. Caner Cindoruk played the role of Kemal in the TV series Hanımın Çiftliği, based on Orhan Kemal's unforgettable work of the same name, which started in the summer of 2009, and his co-stars in the series are Mehmet Aslantuğ and Özgü Namal.
In 2012, she starred in the theater play Pandas' Story with Ebru Özkan. In 2012, she starred in director Bahman Gobadi's film Rhinoceros Season with Yılmaz Erdoğan, Beren Saat and Monica Bellucci. In 2013, she played the lead role in the TV series Aramızda Kalsın with famous names such as Uğur Yücel and Gökçe Bahadır. In 2014, she shared the lead roles with Belçim Bilgin and Engin Hepileri in the movie Çalsın Sazlar, directed by Nesli Çölgeçen.
In 2015, she starred in the Iraqi director Hiner Saleem's feature film Dar Elbise with Tuba Büyüküstün, Hazar Ergüçlü, İnanç Konukçu, Devrim Yakut and Canan Ergüder. The movie was released in 2016.
Caner Cindoruk played the role of Tulumbacı Eğrikapılı Ali in the musical İstanbulname, produced by Türker İnanoğlu and starring Nükhet Duru, Pelin Akil, Cezmi Baskın and Kayhan Yıldızoğlu.
In 2016, Caner Cindoruk, who shared the lead roles with Aslıhan Gürbüz and Taner Birsel in the movie Kor, directed by Zeki Demirkubuz, received full marks from movie critics with his successful acting. Cindoruk also took part in the TV series Istanbul Sokakları, in which he shared the lead roles with Gizem Karaca in 2016.
In 2020, he gave life to the character of Volkan Arslan in the series called A Woman Scorned, which is the Turkish adaptation of the British-made Doctor Foster series broadcast on Kanal D, starring Cansu Dere and Melis Sezen. The series ended with the finale on May 25, 2022.
