Biography

Ayça Elif Varlıer (born May 7, 1977, Ankara) is a Turkish actress, singer, composer and presenter.

Born in Ankara in 1977, Varlıer continued her education in the United States while attending high school. She graduated from The Hartt School of the University of Hartford. She took part in some plays and musicals in the country. She returned to Turkey in the early 2000s and in 2004, she made her television debut in the TV series Karım ve Annem. Between 2005 and 2007, she made her debut in the TV series Gümüş. In 2007, she was one of the leading roles in Hisseli Harikalar Kumpanyası, which was staged for the first time. In the series Son Bahar, which started broadcasting in 2008, she played the lead role in a TV series for the first time. She won the Afife Theater Award, Sadri Alışık Award and Vasfi Rıza Zobu Theater Award for her performance in the musical Leyla's House, which premiered in 2010. In 2013, her first studio album Elif was released. In the following years, she starred in the films Taş Mektep (2013), Günce (2013), Olur Olur! (2014) and Mavi Gece (2015). In 2015, she won the Sadri Alışık Award for the second time for her performance in the lead role of Fosforlu'nun Hikayesi (Fosforlu'nun Hikayesi), which was staged for the first time. Varlıer starred in the TV series Kalk Gidelim, which aired between 2017 and 2020
