Biography
Asuman Dabak, born on February 1, 1970, in Akhisar, Manisa, is a Turkish actress, voice artist, and educator with a diverse career spanning theater, film, television series, and voice acting. She took her first professional step in 1993 at the Bahçelievler Municipal Theater; despite having no formal training, she quickly attracted attention with her observation and interpretation skills. She first appeared on screen as Emine in the series Örümcek, and then became known for her role as "Menekşe" in Tatlı Hayat. She took an active role in the theater world with the Asuman Dabak Theater, which she founded in 2006, and continued her voice acting, TV series and film work, and educational activities. Despite going through a difficult period (a diagnosis of uterine cancer and subsequent surgeries), she held on to her profession; today, she continues to produce work on screen and on stage.
