She was born on December 2, 1997 in Edremit district of Balıkesir. She completed her primary and secondary education in Antalya and won the Department of Comparative Literature at Eskişehir Osmangazi University. While studying in this department, she took her first step into acting with the movie İkinci Şans in 2016. Saraçoğlu started her acting career in 2016 with the movie İkinci Şans. After her mother sent Afra's photo to Özcan Deniz, Afra was called to a test shoot and got her role in the movie. In the movie starring Özcan Deniz and Nurgül Yeşilçay, Afra played Yeşilçay's daughter. She shared the lead role with Tolga Sarıtaş in the movie Kötü Çocuk. After this experience, she played the character of Ece for 50 episodes in her first series called Fazilet Hanım ve Kızları, which was broadcast between 2017-2018. In 2018, she became the brand face of Hummel and Pantene.

The actress, who continued her career with the films Good Game and Love Is This? in 2018, took part in the TV series Kardeş Çocukları, which starred Mehmet Aslantuğ and lasted 21 episodes, in 2019. In 2020, she took part in the TV series Öğretmen.

In 2021, she starred alongside Çağatay Ulusoy in Yeşilçam, directed by Çağan Irmak. She became the face of the Cornetto and Koton brands in 2021. In the same year, she took part in the theater play Bir Barda Bir Gece with Nurgül Yeşilçay. As of 2022, she portrays the character of Seyran Şanlı in the TV series Yalı Çapkını, which is broadcast on Star TV.
She comes from a family with roots in Thessaloniki and Crete. She was in a relationship with actor Mert Yazıcıoğlu from 2018 to 2022. In 2023, she had a short relationship with Mert Ramazan Demir.
