A Hope is Enough Chapter 4 Summary: Elif does not want to accept the truth when she learns that Derya is the real mother of their son, whom they found in a boat that washed ashore five years ago by a miracle and replaced their stillborn baby. Yılmaz struggles with his conscience and Elif's morbid passion for Umut and her rigid attitude that refuses to accept the truth. Kenan tries to manage the situation in his own way by hiding the anonymous letter written by Yılmaz to Derya telling her that Umut is alive from the whole household, but things do not go as he wants, and Derya finds the letter with Dilek's trick. With Derya finding the letter, all the balances change in an instant. Derya goes after her son, who she learns is alive, while Elif has no intention of sharing Umut with anyone.
