Baba Candır 40th Chapter Summary:
Haluk forgives Ece and her mother. Salih, who softened after Haluk's accident, tells Haluk to come to ask for Ece. Ceylan's grandfather subjects Emrecan to the chef exam. On the day of the request, mishaps haunt Haluk. Haluk starts to think that he is cursed. Nermin learns that Müjde had a hand in dyeing her hair red and plans revenge. Levent's arrival stirs things up. Mehmet Dede learns from Levent that Emrecan is married to someone else and wants to take Ceylan and return to Ürgüp. Salih learns about Levent's affair with Ece. Salih gets angry at Ece and Nermin for lying to him and tells them to stay out of his sight for a while and cancels the request. Salih's illness worsens. Adnan decides to investigate Salih's illness in more detail. Emrecan tries to convince Mehmet Dede to ask for Ceylan and Haluk tries to convince Salih to ask for Ece. Will the double request come true? Will Salih forgive Ece? Will Haluk be able to ask for Ece? Will Emrecan prove to Mehmet Dede that he is worthy of Ceylan? What will Salih's health condition be?
