Biography
Tarık Papuççuoğlu (born January 14, 1949, Istanbul) is a Turkish theater, film and TV series actor. After graduating from Galatasaray High School, Tarık Papuççuoğlu graduated from the Department of Architecture at the State Academy of Fine Arts and worked in troupes such as Devekuşu Kabare, Üsküdar Players and Ortaoyuncular. In addition to theater, he also acted in movies and TV series, and met with a wide audience with his role as "Kebapçı Vakkas" in the TV series İkinci Bahar. He then cemented his fame with the role of Director Amil Sağlam in the series Hayat Bilgisi. Papuççuoğlu, who also hosted a program on television for a while, also played in commercials. His daughter Zeynep Papuççuoğlu is also an actress.
