Bige Önal was born on February 1, 1990 in Istanbul. She is the daughter of former Galatasaray football player Erhan Önal and former model Mine Baysan. When she was 9 years old, her parents divorced. After graduating from Saint Benoît French High School, she graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University, Department of Cinema and Television.

She started her acting career with the series Kısmetim Otel in 2007.
